If you’re not comfortable in it, you can’t wear it well...

Updated: Mar 11, 2020

Style and comfort should go hand in hand in fashion! Yet it doesn’t. People will compromise comfort for style to look good as opposed to feeling good. Comfort needs to be the number one option when it comes down to fashion. Sorry but it’s not style, not design or not even trend but how does it feel on you. All have seen the person that dressed well. But had to remove items because they were hurting or they look very uncomfortable in what they wore. Even worse, it’s not for you. Everything is not for everyone and everybody type. Trendy styles are in but not for everybody. Because your money could buy it doesn’t mean your body can wear it. Don’t be fashion shamed or body shamed into thinking you have to do as others do. At no time do you have to wear what is comfortable for someone else but uncomfortable for you. Resist the peer pressure, be like the eagle, alone if you have too.

If you can’t walk in heels stop trying.

If you don’t have the body type to wear skinny jeans wear what’s comfortable for you.

If you’re planning on losing weight to fit into something that you love. It’s best to wait until you lose the weight and it will feel and look so much better.

If you can’t fit it today doesn’t mean you can’t in time. Display the item in your closet or in your home as motivation. That’s so much better than the nightmare of wearing something that you’re uncomfortable in. Comfort goes a long way in my humble opinion. Impress as you dress, don’t dress to impress...
